#NoKill Animal Shelters and #TNR Programs on Twitter

If you’re an animal lover who has some spare time to devote to helping cats on social media, please watch this video. Help join the movement support animal rescue organizations that have strict no-kill policies.

A lot of the activism that goes on for cats is in crowdsourced on Twitter. Rescues often post their needs, repost requests from neighboring shelters. There are also a lot of foster moms and dads on Twitter that post cats that are available to adopt.

A few twitter handles to help you get started:

Hashtags: #feralcats, #nokillshelter, #rescue, #adopt, #wlf, #nokill #TNR

Please note that PETA does not have a no-kill policy at their rescue site, and there are blog postings by PETA writers that say they don’t believe in TNR (trap-neuter-return) or no-kill programs. This is a very sad and unfortunate thing. 😦
